art-in. is a space for art, an artist run space, and a social enterprise in Manchester set up by artist Emma Rushton.

art-in. has grown out of the slow renovation, on a low budget, of a semi-derelict 5-bedroom house in Whalley Range, Manchester. Foremost a family home, the house has become an artwork of sorts; a space in which to exhibit contemporary art; and a venture to support artists.

art-in. the space introduces an audience to art within a domestic environment, through events, exhibitions, conversations.

art-in. the social enterprise, aims to enable pretty-much anyone, on any budget, to incorporate contemporary art within their project, home, or space, by making or sourcing individual artworks specific for a space and context.
